Family Guide to Grades, Attendance, and Messaging

Grades
The DOE Grades application is a secure electronic gradebook used by teachers.

  • Teachers can create and grade assignments directly in the system.

  • Assignments can be imported from the school’s Learning Management System (iLearn or Google Classroom), eliminating the need for duplicate data entry.

  • Students will be able to view assignments and grades through TeachHub.

  • Families will be able to view the same information in the NYC Schools Account (NYCSA) Portal.


Attendance
DOE Attendance is a secure digital attendance system.

  • Families can already view their child’s attendance through the NYC Schools Account (NYCSA) Portal.

  • Teachers and school staff can update attendance records in real time throughout the school day.
