Counseling and Support

Mental Health Awareness Month 2022: Back To Basics
At UASEM we understand that school-based mental health is a vital component of support systems. Mentally healthy students are more likely to go to school ready to learn, actively engage in school activities, have supportive and caring connections with adults and young people, use appropriate problem-solving skills, have nonaggressive behaviors, and add to positive school culture.

We make mental health a priority with our school-wide advisory program (R.E.A.D.Y Lab).

We also have a full time social worker, Ms. Veronica Morera, who is easily accessible for an appointment or referral by email below.
